Floral Chakra

Enzo and I stumbled across this today hanging from St Mary Magdalene (with Saint Leonard), displayed as part of the upcoming Flower Festival. I happened to chat to the design creator, then this woman who pointed out many of the crocheted flowers that she'd produced for it.

Collies
Design review at tonight's weekly meeting at Collies, so had messaged the Green Southwell Group re advice and had a deluge of really useful suggestions. One was to visit the gardens behind Newark Library, which made a big impression on me.

We had a very useful discussion with much food for thought. Our main issue is to include enough "crowd pleaser" elements to keep the Parish Council on board as far as possible as well as how best to enhance it's biodiversity and natural look.

Now on IV pain relief and sleeping much of the time thankfully. Our son and I are going to visit tomorrow.
