Chinese Garden, RHS Bridgewater

We drove to RHS Bridgewater this morning to meet up with A&N who we last saw here over a year ago.  I used to work with A about 20 years ago!

The weather was foul.  Totally.  We had coffee and chatted for a while and when there was a slight break in the clouds we nipped out into the garden for a wander.  This is part of the Chinese garden currently being landscaped.  It started raining again, so we returned to the cafe for lunch.

We have visited Bridgewater 3 times over the last few years and the gardens are developing well and becoming established.

It was good to meet up with A&N.  

The drive home was appalling  as the rain did not let up.  A bit like driving through a car wash.
