Long Man

Met friends we had not seen for around 18 years at a pub in Wilmington and then tried to show them some local sights, including the Long Man of Wilmington, and Beachy Head, but the weather pretty well defeated us. In this photo you can just about make out the Long Man but he doesn’t look at his best. Beachy Head was just impenetrable mist. It was good to catch up on our lives though and although we have little in common with them, they are pleasant to be with.
