Just Landed

Wood pigeons are a bit like Chinooks in that you can often hear them first before you see them. A rather tenuous link to sounds for Mono Monday. It's the whooshing of the wings more than the call.

Daughter#2 is staying in London this evening so we will now see her tomorrow. Her flight from Munich was late anyway as they found a dent in the door which had to be measured to make sure it was within acceptable parameters. German efficiency at work here. It was, but then they were rerouted to avoid storms on the way. She has just landed too.

We have been tidying and making up beds. We feel shattered. I am still positive.
