The Bonny Banks
Of Loch Lomond. They certainly were this morning, on a sunny day with light breeze.
Balloch to Tarbet on the west side of the loch is 27km. That's a 54km round trip, which is a bit much for my old legs on a Monday morning; so did the 25km round trip to Luss, which sits at the mid spot. It's almost a pedestrianised village, and parking in the centre is aggressively discouraged.
The entire area is fabulous, and needs more exploration.
