Topper

Stuart had an early appointment at the doctor's for his shingles jab, so I went with him and popped into the Co-op in the barn next door.  I got some delicious steak and ale pies for lunch - yummy!  I also got some freshly baked, still warm bread for tea.  I took a photo of this postbox topper on the way back to the car.  

This afternoon we will be cleaning a few windows ready for them to be looked at tomorrow and before winter, as they are letting cold air in through the frames.  We are hoping they can be repaired - if not, we will get them replaced.  The guy who's coming will give advice, as well as also repairing a couple of stiff locks on doors for us.
