School Cross Country

What a glorious day Murchison turned on for the school cross country. It was frosty first thing, with a bit of fog, but by 11.00am the fog had all cleared, the sun had appeared and it was looking to be a brilliantly clear day.

This collage of photo's shows Son C (top left hand corner) striding up the steep course, while Son T (bottom right hand corner) crossing the finish line. The other two photo's are of landscape views around Murchison.

C came in first with a time of 10min 45 seconds. The next home was a year 13 student (C is year 10) in 13 min 02 seconds. This is the first year that times were taken for the cross country, so will be interesting to compare times when next years competition is run.
