Patterns

A day trip to the Garten der Welt. On the other side of Berlin and requiring all the public transport to get there and back. As with many places here entrance was very affordable (,€9.50 with cable car trip). We enjoyed exploring the different gardens. The tiles were in the Iranian part of the garden. The patterns were mesmerising. Meticulous detail and lovely colours. The fountains in the middle added more symmetry which is always pleasing to the eye.  Flowers are good but I find vegetables more interesting. Poisonous plants are good too, they give me Agatha Christie vibes, none to be spotted here though.  There were lots of cafes and stalls but no exit through the gift shop. Leftovers for dinner is always a treat with minimal cooking required.
