Homeward

From Namur it's great cycling along the Maas, especially with a tailwind and we had that :-). Had that not been the case, we would have camped in East Maarland, a few kilometers across the border in the Netherlands. I thought it would be nice to camp so close to home, but my own bed beckoned so we drove on.

We planned our breaks well. We usually do. First break coffee with Liège waffle in Huy, second break sandwich and a drink in Liège. At a cozy looking terrace we decided not to eat a sandwich but a pizza with a beer 0.0. Unbelievable how the weather has suddenly turned into summer in the last two days! It was nice on the terrace and at that moment we thought we were only 20 kilometers away from the campsite and took it easy.

Just for the statistics: we covered about 1950 kilometers./i]
