Sandy Irvine Robertson (on the bench)

I always thought that this statue outside son no 1’s flat on the Shore was of a famous Leither. Turns out it was a chap I met in the 1990s when I was working for Jenners.
Mass this morning and then we set off for Leith to take son no 1 home. We stopped off at B & Q and DFS en route and then all (me, Mr P and sons 1 and 2) enjoyed lunch at the Teuchters Landing (great pub). Lots of heavy showers in Leith but sunny once we were back in Peebles. Son no 3 is now back from his camping holiday in the Cairngorms. It’s a bit like revolving doors!
