Striding out

A visit today from my middle sister and the prettiest of Bailey's dog cousins. He enjoyed the change of company even if his cousin ate the remainder of his breakfast. A bit of a catch up and then we headed to the Ferryboat at Washingborough for our lunch. Rosie operated as the welcoming and departure committee as she managed to get herself close to the entrance whilst Bailey assumed his usual position. We managed to miss the rainstorm that obviously came down whilst we were eating and headed out for a walk down the footpath and back up the new road once we were back to walk off our lunch. A serendipitous meeting with the favourite people on the way back kept Bailey walking the last bit which thankfully saved me from a fourth carry.
