Long Man

A trip to the hospital for more x-rays and re-plastering. He was hoping for a support boot, but plaster it was; for another 4 weeks. Next appointment is the day before he starts his new school, thus ensuring that nearly the whole of his summer holidays will have been spent on one leg.

Whilst in Eastbourne we utilised the wheelchair and explored the summer market stalls along the prom and got ripped-off somewhat; buying a small quantity of Turkish Delight, some olives and a portion of baclava; £30!! I had to ask the poor, needy, stall holder to put some of it back.

We took the scenic route back over the Downs and stopped to admire the 75m tall Long Man of Wilmington.
