Life in the Garden

Another day in the garden digging and pulling and cutting and even sawing off dead limbs... and with lots of birds and squirrels around me vying for photos, but this little fellow won the blip lottery...So cute...

Meanwhile, I am getting more and more nervous about what my new neighbours are planning to do in their back yard which is adjacent to my garden.They have now brought in a front-end loader and it looks much more formidable than that first little digger...which, by the way, has come and gone with no real damage to anything other than their grass... but what is this one for? Fingers crossed that whatever its job, it will be kept far away from the roots of my towering trees!

PS: Maggie is doing great..so the prospect of going north to cottage country this weekend is looking feasible...
