BLACK-EYED SUSAN

A trip over to see Mum today.  She's doing very well but is getting a bit forgetful at times.  She stripped her bed yesterday and put the sheets and pillowcases in the wash.  On hanging them out she discovered she was missing one, so she checked the washing machine, inside the other pillow case, inside the duvet cover, in the linen basket etc etc - guess where it was - on the pillow, she'd forgotten to take it off and had put a clean one on top of the old one!!!  Then she walked on up to her local little Tesco, only about a 10 minute walk, she bought a few things but she likes her flavoured milk, especially banana or strawberry.  She bought the strawberry one.  On getting home and unpacking her shopping bag she discovered she'd left the strawberry milk behind, the main thing she went up for!!! It's not expensive so she didn't worry about it.  We bought her some over.  Still not bad for 92 years young huh!!!  She still managed to wash her floors OK and do some dead heading the garde.

It rained heavy in Morecambe, but only heavy showers.  When we came home it didn't look like it had rained so much over here.!!!

We didn't stop anywhere, so I took this photo of the Black-Eye Susans (otherwise known as Rudbeckia I think) in her neighobur's (my sister's boyfriend's) garden.

That's all for today.  I will catch up on all your blips soon.  Sorry or the delay in commenting on your blips.
