Decided we needed to be out by 9.30 to head up to Pittenweem. It took a bit longer than I remembered but we did stop for a take- out coffee on the way. Arrived in the rain but not too bad and as it kept stopping and starting throughout the day we didn’t get too wet. Went to G and Fs earlyish to look at my painting and I spotted another print of Cosmos which I bought later on. They weren’t too busy then so had a good chat with them. Had s really nice wander around most of the many locations, buying another small ceramic mic piece from Hilke Macintyre. Had a stroll along the sea front- stunning sky!
D found a really nice ceramic fish late- ish on in the day. Stopped at the Scout Hut for a bacon roll and soup - good to feel that organisations like this can benefit from the Art Week.
D was hoping for a fruit pie from the fruit farm on the way home but not to be so we shared some strawberries instead. Finished off yesterday’s leftovers when we got back and then walked down to the Usher Hall to see the Magic Flute. It was a concert production which I don’t like so much and found the narration a bit confusing. All the principals had beautiful voices though.
