A day of Art.
This great piece of guerilla crochet was hung at the West End of Princes Street and is response and reference to the shocking expensive shambles that has filled my home town with closed roads and roadworks for the past 4 years.
I spent the morning working through an exciting project for the Botanics exhibition I'm co-ordinating next February, had a great presentation from the Art therapy student who'd been on placement with us and spent the evening down memory lane at Edinburgh College of Art to look at this years degree shows with some old fellow students.
Memories.....we all agreed what a luxury in them days we had the time and space to study, create and explore for 6 years. But we were all too angst filled and young to appreciate it.
