Spot the Woodland Guardian

I often pass this Woodland Guardian,  a amall sculpture tucked high up in a beech tree, on my walks in Mine Woods.

Most walkers and bikers are unaware of it because it was so designed by an art student from Falkirk, part of her environmental project, to blend in with the environment.

It is so successful that few folk know of its existence.

Meanwhile, we have been left in charge of our neighbour’s cat while she is on holiday.

The last time this happened the cat absconded and was found nearly a week later perched half way down Wolf Crag quarry, part of Mine Woods, and only its loud meowing alerted a passer- by who called in the Fire Brigade.

I hope we are going to be saved from a similar drama this time.
