You can run but you can't hide, as a friend said, and after three and a bit years Covid has caught up with me. Quite achy when I woke up, with a slight headache. Unlike recent lateral flow tests - wait and see what happens, then heave a sigh of relief - on this test strip a second stripe appeared within seconds. Emphatically positive. Anyway, MrM seems to be recovering, and I didn't feel too bad, so he suggested a road trip to explore nearby Derbyshire, and identify places we'd like to visit in future. Better than sitting at home surrounded by jobs that need doing when neither of us has the energy to tackle them.
We drove through some fabulous scenery, sat out in the sun for a picnic lunch in a car park with this view of Ladybower Reservoir, and came in to contact with no-one whatsoever.
