gala day

I walked up to Dunscore to see the Dunscore Gala parade with Joanna. The weather wasn't great but everyone was smiling and it was amazing to see how much effort had gone into all the costumes and floats. This couple had only decided to enter a few days ago so their outfits were extra-impressive!

I haven't done much else today - a bit of housework and picking of sweet peas, remembering a year ago when I picked a bunch for Sarah's wedding bouquet :-) We missed the gala parade that day!
