View from the Raploch

Now it's probably not very high up on the list of desirable addresses in Scotland, but the Raploch has a lot going for it in the way of views - this on one side and the back of Stirling Castle on the other!

I was there today at the very lovely Raploch Community Campus for the FestiVol volunteering awards (this being volunteers week, in case you didn't know) with a select few of our great volunteer team. Sadly we didn't win, but you can't begrudge the ones that did, and you get nice snacks and a photo with the provost, so all in all a nice night out. It's the last week of the Step Challenge (we are estimating reaching our target tomorrow!), so I walked down. To be honest it's as quick as standing waiting for buses, and it was a beautiful day, if anything too warm, which I don't like to say in Scotland, it seems terribly ungrateful for the few days of nice weather we get each year! Late back, hence the backblip.
