Wedding venue

This is a back blip as we spent most of the day driving to the next stop in our itinerary for the actual wedding. It took us 3 hours to get to the Gold Coast where we picked up the bride’s cousin who had stayed with us for the Scottish wedding of Amanda’s brother.

We then drove for another 3 hours to a beautiful eco resort in spectacular scenery beyond Brisbane not far from Maleny where.we will stay for 3 nights. It was fortunate we had Amy with us as my phone battery died and I would never have found this remote place without her phone for Sat nav.

The family had arranged for guests to meet for pizza and drinks at the wedding venue about 10 miles away and I took the blip as we arrived with darkness falling. Views are stunning.

The log cabin has no WiFi so I may struggle to do much commenting but the on site restaurant has a signal so I am sitting outside in beautiful sunshine having just been handed
fresh water by a lovely chatty waitress.
Off now to get on my Scottish outfit for the wedding !
