Spitfire Memorial at Lytham St Annes.

This is a full sized Spitfire Mk Vb complete with a pilot figure in the cockpit.

There are some very sobering information boards beneath the aircraft with information about Fighter Command, Bomber Command and Coastal Command.

All in all, a very good way to be reminded of the sacrifices of so many men on our behalf.
