A balmy morning dog walk, fairly humid.

Quick trip to town.  Heaving with tourists.  At one point in M&S at the till,  stepping back for  the customer in front almost bumped into a young Japanese woman.  I asked her to move back which she didn't seem to understand but eventually complied when I put my hand up and moved it towards her.

Him indoors believes that because Japan is so crowded there is little concept of personal space and this is why they get too close.  It's a  theory . . .

The market had a great selection of plums today.

After lunch met Jane at a nearby cafe, The Coffee Tree.  Jane cannot consume gluten and they have an excellent selection of gluten free cakes.

We caught up for three hours!  Our paths crossed years ago at a creative writing class which we both enjoyed immensely.  She was very good.

Starting to cool down now.

Pleasant evening everyone.
