Calne (Friday 11th August 2023)

We had another change of season today. I had cod and chips in the Pocket Park and sat reading lazily there for an hour. This blip was taken in the town centre just above the River Marden on Beach Terrace as I drifted homewards and the Extra was taken slightly later in the Town Gardens. Very few chores were done.

Tomorrow will probably be Winter.

While I was in the Pocket Park I was finishing the reading of the oldest magazine in my backlog of those incompletely read, namely the Mojo of September 2016. I also replayed the cover CD that came with it, Jamaican Explosion, an excellent compilation which included this track by the singer and pianist Theo "Snappin'" Beckford.
