A Busy, Busy Day!

Gorgeous weather and lots of interesting places to see.  Today would have been my brother’s 77 birthday so I went to Glasgow Cathedral to light a candle for him.  Then to the St. Mungo Museum of Religious Art and Life, an eclectic collection that spanned centuries, continents and faiths.  I taxied to Katherine and Martin’s house and he took me to see Holmwood House, designed by Alexander Thomson in the Greek revival style. (That’s a Magpie on the lawn and he left me a beautiful feather to take home.). Phew!  I’m ready for a glass of wine and dinner!  Gift#222: the city of Glasgow.
