Pockets - nature or nurture?

Most of our lifetimes ago family holidays were spent in Kent, not very far from home in south east London. The year that our dad entertained us four children by driving the hire car through this ford, then being unable to start it again afterwards, has stuck in the segment of all our memories labelled 'Laugh'. So Eynsford was a good placed to go for mum and offspring, all together for the first time in well over a decade. A shame we didn't see anyone get stuck in the ford but lunch and an afternoon chatting almost made up for it.

Brother 2 has arrived from New Zealand at short notice during quite a busy time so it was lucky we could manage this. At the end of the afternoon Brother 1 headed north westwards to Heathrow and I caught a train further south east to meet a very good French friend staying in Kent for a few days. I've missed his bear-hugs and we chatted like we saw each other last week, not four years ago.
