A big day for me

I went down to Galmpton in South Devon for the day. The sale of my mum and dads house was completed at last. Many mixed feelings. The house is in the left hand picture, seen from my friend’s garden. On the right is my friend, also a Sue, in her new greenhouse, happily showing me her first ever crop of tomatoes. nb black ones on the left - I hope you can see them. She was my mum’s good friend too, and is the mum of the person who is buying the house. I took thank you cards and bouquets to the solicitors and estate agents to thank them for getting me through this process. They were incredibly pleased and quite emotional. I don’t think that it happens very often:-)
I went to my mum’s grave in the churchyard as I was going to visit her and maybe get a blip of it. I was ashamed to see it was very much covered in green mould and not really legible. I also discovered that I didn’t really feel she was there. I will go back soon to clean it though.
