The Pub With No Beer

The pub next door to the studio has shut down. The 'For Sale' notice is up, the shutters are down and the tables on the deck are stored away.

A victim of the credit crunch - well no.

They were shut down after a raid by the police who found 350 cannabis plants growing in the basement!

Not your average pub - oh no!

After the smoking ban came into law, one day the whole pub, customers and staff, were so desperate for a puff that they all moved outside and left the place abandoned!

From the landlords resume

"I have just taken over the running of this great local pub. We have completely cleaned the pub out and are going to extend the outside decking area to a lower level which will give access to the water of Leith river bank in the summer. We are reopening the kitchen and will be serving a wide range of great pub grub including childrens".......
