The Boss

I really need to up my game…..this is the third consecutive day when I’ve done an “emergency blip”.  
Because it’s been another very cold day with no inclination to step outdoors I’ve spent a good part of it editing my Mackenzie Country photos.  I’m getting there,  I’m a slow editor, a fusspot you might say!!!
With landscapes I often do three images of different exposures (one even, one under, one over) then merge them in Photoshop before doing any processing I think necessary.  This is more time consuming but worth it particularly if there are contrasty clouds (dark/light/burnt out whites)….a John Gravett setting when I had a week with him back in 2016.
Love the imperiousness look of Smooch as he looks on and keeps me company. And who said he could curl up in the bowl on the table?
