Hawea Swing Bridge….literally

If you look very closely at this photo, there are 2 men literally swinging from the bridge ( see extra)!
It was the annual check of the bridge to make sure everything was secure. The work would suit people who like abseiling! Anyway, I thanked them for their work as it’s a very popular walking and cycling spot.

Friends are arriving soon for drinks and nibbles - haven’t seen them in years, so it will be fun to catch up.
