We are Solar!

It was hot work on our roof today as A and L locked down our final four panels.  I asked D if it was okay to climb up the ladder to blip them and he shouted to them to turn down the radio, 'Is that so they will hear me scream when I fall off?' I asked.

An hour later the cable from the two sets of panels was put through in to the cellar and connected to the inverter, the switch was turned and we were on solar.  It was really quite exciting!  D then showed us how to download the monitoring app and explained what it was telling us and we quickly turned in to solar nerds telling each other; 'The solar yield dropped when the sun went behind that cloud,' 'We're on 68% battery charge now,' 'That's us feeding in to the grid.'  It's got its own language.

The work is neatly done and the panels have melded in to the landscape much better than I thought they would.  All respect to the team who have done an excellent job!
