Pàidh eile

Another pie or rather a  mini quiche, cooked again in the pie maker. It was relatively straightforward to make and a tasty alternative to our usual soup and bread. 

This morning I was out with the Path Group clearing vegetation from the side of a nearby burn to (hopefully) prevent future flooding.  

This afternoon I did some errands in town (which was very, very busy). This included returning books to the library, getting a float for the Bonfire Committee raffle which we are running at the weekend - this will help in keeping the actual event free on the night - and returning a couple of items from amazon which didn't fit. They had a new (to me at least) system whereby you don't need to package them up - you simply take to post office and they pop them in a bag for you, having scanned a code on your phone and matched it to a barcode on the bag. 

A quiet evening beckons after all that excitement !
