Rotted. Leitz Summaron 35mm
I had time today to be back in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Were life always this spacious... The arborists had been by recently to take down this tree - a maple, I believe -, rotten to the core. Is it a metaphor for our world? But it makes for a nice sculpture.
I believe that the transient shot should always take precedence, but the stump is a better picture. So I'll include as an Extra, the lady alone with her thoughts - and cell phone - in a beautiful, sylvan setting.
