Wader or Gull

A lovely warm morning which saw us walk north towards the airport. It's probably only 2.5 miles but it took ages because we stopped so often to enjoy the views. This wader/gull was pottering around in the mud and the plover (?) In the extra was taking flight over the recently slurried and rather smelly fields. Help in identifying both birds would be kind. The forecast for the remainder of the day is terrific. 

Another excellent meal at Saintear last night. We had an extended walk afterwards because the weather was so good. The sky was clear and starry with the moon low in the sky at about midnight. I went out and tried to capture the scene but it didn't really work. 

Tonight we'll eat at the hotel. I envisage fish and chips but we'll see.
