DAY TWELVE: Include / exclude

Winter lemons ripen in the back garden, whilst daffodils, geraniums and magnolia are all in flower together. I'm told the jasmine bloom is unseasonal, like the sunshine. This city and season are disorienting and beautiful.

Today was my first day of 'screening abstracts' - a researching rite of passage. Pre-agreed criteria tell me what to screen in and out but I am prone to being distracted by something interesting and off topic. I make myself larger and larger posters to stay on track. 
"IS IT CO-PRODUCTION? 
IS IT YOUTH? 
IS IT MENTAL HEALTH?"
And try to let the "nos" go, for now. 

This evening I wandered the laneways of the city centre and over local pinot noir and pistachio gelato was guided to think about leadership and positive change. I'm not sure if it was the tasty potato curry, company or melodic busker but it was a nourishing end to the day.
