Frederick's Museum Cambridge

A tour around Cambridge today including the Polar Exhibition and Frederick's Museum who had an Egyptian display, hence the Blip, which I find interesting. I was not aware that besides decorating the outside of the coffins the also decorated the inside.
I suppose it gave them something to look at while laying there! LOL

The Polar Exhibition  showed just how brave or crazy the early explorers were travelling to these extremes with little kit and protection also the animals would have suffered too.

We watched the punting on the River Cam but nobody fell in!

Over the next couple of days we are moving on for a week in Dorset.

The weather has improved and we had a day of summer which is due to continue onto Thursday.
