Any day now

The swans at St Anne's have been nesting since at least the 12th April so the cygnets must be due to hatch any day now.

She was much more animated today than I've seen on previous visits.

The duck on the right is lucky to be waddling at all after being given its marching orders in no uncertain terms by the protective Mum to be.

While I was there she stood to turn round but I missed the shot of the eggs.

I will have to visit more often to see the hatching.
