Another…

…wee local wander. This time on the Darn Walk at Bridge of Allan.

Quite apt as today would have been their Grandpa’s 91st birthday.

We took some flowers to him at Logie and then did this walk which was one of his haunting grounds as a boy. So the Fangler and cousin C got all the stories their Grandpa used to tell their Mummy’s when he took me and Gill on this walk.

Then we stopped in Causewayhead park, which had a whole load more stories related to it too.

A day for family history.

In other news…wee Es who was not content with the ‘C’ grade she achieved in 2016 funded herself through another sitting of Nat 5 Maths this year and got a…B! To say she was chuffed with that is an understatement. Well done Es :-)
