Garden jobs

Up for Bailey's breakfast and then back to bed for a little while before we had to head around to the garage. It's been a day of phone calls and some frustration but the bottom line is that a part is needed that has been ordered but with no idea when it will arrive - hopefully sooner rather than later but we shall see. And hopefully the fault which is currently sporadic won't become permanent before it can be sorted.

Garden jobs were the main order of the day in between car things, starting with some deadheading of the roses. Based on the height of them this involved a ladder, a hook and a wound wipe when it was done - they are quite vicious. And then cutting the grass which was also more of an epic job than usual based on how much it has grown as have the weeds out the front so those were dealt with. Not all growth was unwanted so there has been a bit of tying things up including this thalictrum. I got my washing out and dried but I didn't add the ironing to today's list. And the sun has shone for the whole day which has made a difference.
