Still there

The damselfly was still in the same spot this morning. You can see how he has 'hardened' by the change in colour. He was clearly stuck in the exuviae, and his wings were bent and twisted. He was trying to fly but couldn't so I offered him my thumb (see extra), he accepted and I put him in a safe and quiet place in the veranda.

Beau decided at 22:20 last night that he wanted to play! Then was happy to settle down in his 95% of the bed! He did sleep on my feet to keep them warm, and then came up and curled up right alongside me.

The guy who came to install was lovely but Beau kept a very watchful eye on him. Jo picked him up about 14:30 so he was here almost 24 hours.
