London Life: Lazy lunches...

...not for me, I forgot when going out today that after yesterdays events that I didn't have a bank card, nor did I have any ID on me to allow me to get any money from a bank branch, I was stranded, a realisation that unfortunately didn't hit me until I was at the till in Sainsbury's.

Luckily I had a spare Oyster Card, so TfL were able to transfer my travel card and I could get around the city but no cash for food or water on another warm day in the captial.

I did contemplate a bit of "I have lost my wallet and have not money could you spare a couple of quid for some food?" but knowing the likely response, I just toughed it out for a few hours.

For those that are interested, this is a photo from the Stables Market in Camden Town, a great place to lunch for tourists a workers alike, it was always a popular haunt for me especially the double steak sandwich from Metro's (yummy, and proper steak none of that thin minute steak rubbish) but you can eat anything from about anywhere in the world here, so if you are about, go try it out.
