Inspired by our bus drivers.

I’m fortunate enough to live not far from Windermere station where buses and trains disgorge hundreds of passengers every day at this time of year. The drivers not only have the responsibility of carrying a bus-load of locals and tourists; they also have to deal with roadworks, heavy traffic and endless questions from anxious holidaymakers. They have to have the patience of Job. I take my hat off to them.
