Stripes in the Sky

A fairly normal day, with work, some grocery shopping, and a slightly longer walk with B. 

As we walked back home, we noticed these unusual clouds, like waves or ripples all over the sky. Perhaps a side effect of the sudden weather change? 

The main blip shows the view towards the Rhine valley. I have added an extra photo with nothing but the clouds.
