River Dee

Here we are, the first day of a special treat for us: a week salmon fishing on the River Dee for Nick and accommodation in a hotel for both of us (and Bertie). Nick thought that I should have time on holiday without planning and preparing meals so I wasn’t going to argue.
The hotel is a lovely, easy going place, right on the banks of the River Dee in the town of Banchory. It is so peaceful with gentle walks along the river, watching to see if anyone fishing is going to be lucky enough to hook a salmon.
