the bendy/bent tree

Back to work and we all needed fresh air by lunchtime. As we approached the bendy tree Isaac piped up: “your tree isn’t bendy at all, it’s bent.” He gave me a sympathetic look as I tried to determine his meaning. “It’s not bendy because I could not bend it one way and then bend it back again. So it’s just bent.” When did you get so clever, child? And leave my bendy tree alone!

Gratefuls:

1. Strength given when we each need it;
2. Zeke having a day at football training;
3. The power of a chat to make you less heavy (emotionally, at least - if it made you thin, I’d be a proper skinny mini!
