Little hoppy green things

One visited us at the laundry today (a cricket) and then this evening, as Agu got back to composing, another appeared on his earphones (his girlfriend’s mum’s sweet knitting ‘ears’).

He’s had an interesting day that has set the three of us talking a lot about how much you can give of yourself and when do you say that’s enough. I found it immensely emotional as I heard them talk so intelligently and honestly about self esteem, creativity, integrity and doing the right thing. It’s a tricky world out there and in some ways, living here seems very sheltered. Moving here for a better life for Ben and myself, and then Agu coming along, is something I never regret. No buts.
