elusive idyll

Wonderful weather today. Everybody is watching the rising water level though.
The boat landing, which you can see here, is totally flooded now. Normally, there is a big caravan parking lot and the "City Beach" with beautiful white sand, beach chairs and a little snack bar.
One great effect of the flood is that people stand together and lots of volunteers arrived offering their help, either filling sandbags or providing food and drinks for the helpers!
