The Quiet Corner

We were told to expect a big storm today, so out I went with my camera set up with ND filters for long exposure work on the swaying trees. What a joke. You don't know what a storm is until you have experienced an Irish Atlantic Storm. The sort of thing which drives the rain horizontally, shreds umbrellas and sends small children scurrying for the protection of home.
Even five and ten second exposures didn't record enough action so I nipped around the corner of the house and shot the quiet corner instead. A largely untended area left for the bees and the butterflies.
