Tongue out Tuesday!

Today we walked round Doune Ponds Nature Reserve. My idea was that it would be a little cooler in the shade of the trees around the main pond and it was but not much. By the end Chloe was fairly puggled and quite happy to take a big drink of water and a snooze in the back of the car. We had hope to see the Mandarin ducks but they were not in evidence. Just loads of Mallard and a family of swans. 
Chloe might find this warmer weather a bit uncomfortable, maybe because she is quite furry and needing a good trim at the moment, but I am glad to see the heat back, it is still summer, supposedly!
