Happiness is a clean drain!

We’ve noticed a slight increase in the time taken to drain the sink and with the new dishwasher and its strong pump it was time to give the drain some treatment.
The gov bought a bottle of Mr Muscle and poured it down a couple of nights ago. Absolutely useless. It’s only bleach with a bit of detergent, they’ve taken out the sodium hydroxide so it doesn’t remove grease. So we set to, I dismantled the drains then the gov cleaned all the bits. I even pushed a bottle brush right down to the outlet tee. Water zooms down the plug hole now and it smells fresh. Should keep going for another year or so.
